Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) advancements have had a big influence on language acquisition, especially in improving non-native English speakers' pronunciation. The efficacy of AI tools in enhancing English pronunciation is investigated in this study, with a particular emphasis on how they offer practice opportunities and individualized, real-time feedback. Artificial intelligence (AI) pronunciation tool uses advanced voice recognition and analysis technology to pinpoint pronunciation mistakes and provide personalized correction recommendations. The benefits of ELSA (English Language Speaking Assistant) AI technology highlighted in the paper, include improved accessibility, impartial and reliable feedback, and the ability to replicate a range of languages and speech patterns. The study also looks at how AI tools are incorporated into language learning for non-native learner’s programs and how it improves their English proficiency and confidence in English communication. The results indicate that AI technologies can be a useful addition to conventional language training, offering non-native speakers a scalable and interactive way to overcome the mother tongue influence they encounter when learning English pronunciation.
